NEPTUNUS eMotion is a high-performance, mains-powered pulse lavage system for intraoperative bone cleaning in cemented orthopaedic and trauma surgery procedures. The system is designed for implant site preparation during cemented endoprosthetic procedures and combines reusable system components with single-use irrigation kits.

The resterilizable handpiece is manufactured from solid aluminium and connected via a waterproof 12V cable system (IP58). Two selectable power levels allow controlled irrigation depending on the surgical situation and bone structure. Different irrigation attachments support both large-area cleaning and access to hard-to-reach anatomical areas. An adjustable splash guard with integrated stop function supports controlled handling during use.

The system concept is designed to reduce disposable components compared to fully single-use systems while taking into account practical requirements in the OR, including workflow integration, hygiene and reprocessing.
